Status as Non-profit, Non-Governmental Organization

For the last four years the Ex Cie have been working in the background to change the statutes of the IOBC to allow us to register as a non-profit, non-governmental organization. We felt that this was needed as it has important tax implications, and in many ways will facilitate the moving of money around the world, which is becoming increasingly difficult.

Joop van Lenteren has been working tirelessly with lawyers through this very arduous and complicated process, with the guidance of the IOBC-WPRS.

We are happy to announce that as of 22nd of July 2024 the IOBC is registered as a non-profit, non-governmental organization.
